Compensation based on results!

Maybe because our consultants
have owned their own businesses, or maybe because they are all
salesmen first, Sunrise Associates believes that consultants
should be paid for results achieved and not just for hours
worked.
Our project proposals will always
include an incentive for performance. Our hourly billing rate is
only considered a base rate to cover our labor costs. It is
expected that a bonus will be agreed to and will be associated
with a quantifiable objective.
In addition, out-of-pocket
expenses (travel, presentation supplies, class materials, etc.)
will be invoiced monthly at cost + 10%. We may also propose a
basic retainer for a scheduled monthly or weekly meeting but,
again, always with a performance objective.
Project objectives might include:
- The hiring of a new Operations
Manager by a certain date.
- Sales of a new product exceeding
quarterly or yearly forecasts.
- The introduction of a new
product by a certain date, or the shipment of the new product by
the trade show when it will be released.
- The reaching of a yearly company
sales revenue goal.
- Quarterly results showing a
productivity improvement.
- Hourly labor as a percentage of
revenue improving by 10% by the next quarterly statement.
- Leads increased by a certain
number within 60 days from website improvements.
- Email promotional material
released by a certain date.
- An improved closing rate on
proposals following a sales training program.
However you bonus your employees,
your consultant should also be tied to these goals.
